Coins & EXP Farming Guide

Three progress tracks — Coins, Brainrot EXP, and Player XP — and the fastest way to farm each.

The Three Wallets

🪙
Coins

Shop currency for Rot Boxes and upgrades. Earn by defeating or capturing wilds.

Brainrot EXP

Levels the creature you used in battle. Fainted Brainrots earn zero EXP.

🏅
Player XP

Levels your account via new Player Index entries, unlocking Rot Box tiers.

Farming Coins

1
Capture and sell

Catching gives ~5x the coins of defeating a wild. Farm low-level commons with cheap Rot Boxes, then sell the duplicates.

2
Wooden Box loops

Cheap boxes on low-level Grass wilds near a Rot Lab: catch, sell, repeat until Silver/Gold tiers unlock.

3
Base passive income

Station Brainrots at your base to generate coins even offline. Upgrade base capacity to hold more workers.

4
Chests & routes

Map chests refresh on timers with Coins and spare Rot Boxes. Higher zones drop more coins per catch.

Farming Brainrot EXP

Wild battles

Defeat or catch wilds — higher rarity/level pays more. One-shotting weak wilds is often the best EXP/minute.

NPC trainers

Key holders and gym-style NPCs drop solid EXP while advancing zone gates.

EXP Candy

Community-reported Robux item granting +240 Brainrot EXP to one creature. Keep your party alive — fainted Brainrots earn zero EXP.

Farming Player XP

New Player Index captures award Player XP by rarity. Run new species and repeat catches in the same session for best XP/hour.

Coins & EXP FAQ

What is the fastest way to earn Coins in Catch a Brainrot?

Capture Brainrots and sell the duplicates. Catching gives about 5x the coins of defeating a wild, so farming low-level commons with cheap Rot Boxes near a Rot Lab is the fastest loop. Sell, repeat, and upgrade to Silver/Gold box tiers as your player level rises.

What is the difference between Brainrot EXP and Player XP?

Brainrot EXP levels individual creatures and is earned in battles. Player XP levels your account through new Player Index entries and unlocks Rot Box tiers at the Rot Center. They are two separate progress tracks.

How much Player XP does a new catch give?

Community-reported values: Common +50, Uncommon +75, Rare +100, Epic +150 for a new index entry. Values may change with patches.

What is EXP Candy?

A Robux-purchased item reported to grant +240 Brainrot EXP to one creature, bought from a machine near the Rot Lab. Community-reported, not officially confirmed.

Why did my Brainrot get zero EXP?

Fainted or already-defeated Brainrots earn no EXP from a fight. Heal your party at a Rot Lab before grinding.

How does passive income work?

Station captured Brainrots at your base. They generate coins passively over time, even while you are offline. Higher-tier Brainrots earn more, so upgrade your base capacity early.
