Brainrot

Rot Box
CoreThe catch item used to capture wild Brainrots after weakening them. Rot Boxes come in 4 tiers — Basic, Advanced, Premium, and Ultra — and higher tiers unlock rarer catches.
Charge
BattleThe free battle action that generates 1 Energy. It is the foundation of the turn-based combat system — build Energy with Charge, then spend it on abilities.
Energy
BattleYour core battle resource. Most abilities cost between 2 and 6 Energy. Energy is generated with Charge and spent on attacks, shields, and heals.
Ability
BattleA battle move that costs Energy. ${GAME.name} has 17 abilities, from the free Charge to the 6-Energy Whirlpool finisher.
Shield
BattleA 2-Energy defensive ability that blocks all incoming damage for one round. Essential for boss fights and the best answer to big attacks like Bomb.
Heal
BattleA 2-Energy ability that restores your Brainrot's health. Crucial in long battles and against bosses with sustained damage output.
Starter
ProgressionThe first Brainrot you choose at the Rot Lab. Your three options are Triple T Sahur, Fluri Flura, and Boneca Ambalabu — with Shield + Bomb the recommended opening loadout.
Zone
WorldA large named area of the map with its own Brainrot population. The game has four zones: Rot Forest, Snow Forest Zone 1, Snow Forest Zone 2, and Rot Lab.
Route
WorldA sub-area inside a zone where wild Brainrots spawn. Routes use fixed-level Brainrots and do NOT scale with your level — if an area is too hard, grind coins earlier and upgrade your Rot Box.
Boss
WorldA powerful fixed encounter guarding a zone. Known bosses include Bombombini Gussini, Torrtuginni Dragonfrutinni, and Graipussi Medussi. They have predictable patterns you must shield against.
Rarity
CollectionHow rare a Brainrot is. The 5 rarity tiers are Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Insane. Higher rarities are harder to catch and require better Rot Boxes.
Coins
EconomyThe main shop currency in ${GAME.name}. Earned by defeating or capturing Brainrots (catching pays ~5x more). Spend on Rot Boxes and base upgrades.
Player Index
ProgressionYour account-wide species registry. Registering a Brainrot for the first time awards Player XP, which levels your account and unlocks better Rot Box tiers.
Player XP
ProgressionAccount-level progress earned through new Player Index entries. Unlocks Rot Box tiers at the Rot Center as you level.
Brainrot EXP
ProgressionPer-creature experience earned in battles. Levels individual Brainrots. Fainted Brainrots earn zero EXP — heal your party at a Rot Lab first.
Base
EconomyYour home hub. Station captured Brainrots at your base to generate passive coins over time — even while you are offline.
Rot Lab
WorldThe healing and hub location you can teleport to from the map. Use it to heal your party, buy upgrades, and access Rot Center shops.
Golden Box
EconomyRot Center unlocks reported to appear at player levels 9, 15, and 22. Community-reported progression checkpoints for premium crates.
Glow
CollectionA visual spawn indicator on wild Brainrots. Community-confirmed: green glow = Uncommon, blue glow = Rare. Use glows to spot valuable spawns on a route.

Do routes scale with my level?
No. Each route has fixed-level Brainrots and does not scale with player level. If a zone is too hard, grind coins in an earlier zone and upgrade your Rot Box before returning.
What are the rarity tiers in Catch a Brainrot?
